Resources

We are fortunate that so many wonderful resources are available to us that can encourage us to begin, strengthen, and deepen our practice.

Beginning to Meditate

Beginning a meditation practice does not have to be complicated. Here are some resources to get you started.

Meditation for Skeptics

There is a growing body of research documenting the benefits and outlining the basics of a mindfulness practice. These resources are especially for those of us who want to explore meditation without exploring Buddhism, are looking for resources to be used in a non-religious context, or who want to understand meditation from a more evidence-based or clinical perspective.

Audio/Video Resources

We'll add a collection of links to audio resources: guided meditations, dhamma talks, podcasts, and videos.

The Theravada Tradition

Although members of our community value teachers from many Buddhist traditions, we also recognize the importance of the Theravadan tradition and the Pali canon for guiding and inspiring our practice.
